FAQs

When surrounded by peers, students tend to be more motivated and get more enjoyment out of each class. Making music in a group setting provides an element of connection that is often lacking in one-on-one private lessons. Additionally, group lessons are longer, meaning your child will spend more time at the piano in each lesson.

Understandably, most students will have to miss a class or two due to illness and scheduling conflicts. Contact me when you learn that you will be unable to make a class and I will send you the appropriate materials so you can learn any and practice and topics covered in class that day. If you are concerned about falling behind because of missed classes, we can set up a one-time private lesson to get you caught up.

In order to keep two adults in the room, I always expect one parent to stay in or near the room when class is in session. Before dropping of your child, please check with me to be sure I have another adult present.
